Trump’s Cabbage Fast – Day 1: The Challenge Begins!

Today marks a historic moment! I’m starting Trump’s Cabbage Fast – an experiment where my only food for the next few days is cabbage and water. No salt, no sugar, no oil, no spices – just pure, raw cabbage survival!
🕖 Morning: Feeling good, but hungry
Woke up in a great mood, but my stomach was already whispering, “Hey, where’s breakfast?”
But nope, today’s breakfast is nothing but water.

💡 Morning plan – go for a walk.
I decided that movement is the best distraction from hunger. Planning to walk 2-3 miles (3-5 km) to stay active and feel lighter. The main challenge – avoiding bakeries and not inhaling the smell of fresh pastries. 😅
For now, I feel energetic, but I know this is just the beginning. How will my body react in a few hours?

Walk & First Results 🚶‍♂️🔥
First challenge completed! I walked 3 miles (about 5 km) and burned 460 calories. That’s like skipping an entire meal—if I were eating today at all. 😆
💡 Post-walk results:
✅ Hunger isn’t too bad, which is a win.
✅ Feeling normal, still have energy.
✅ Need to drink more water.
Conclusion: movement definitely helps distract from food cravings. Now the goal is to keep the momentum and see how I feel later in the day.

Here comes my dinner! 🎉 A plate of fresh cabbage… and that’s it. 😆

Crunchy like chips
Slightly sweet
Took forever to chew – my jaw is tired! 😂

But overall, it’s fine and even tastes okay. My theory: if you’re truly hungry, even cabbage will feel like a treat. If it doesn’t—you’re not really hungry!

💡 Conclusion: Today was surprisingly easy, but let’s see how things go overnight and into Day 2… Will cabbage still be “delicious”? 😆
